ram slams forward!-got practice tomorrow!

i've got a big problem. when i gas up my 05 speed the ram slams forward and will not move back. my guess is that my solenoid is bad. i'm really hoping that this isn't the case, becuase iv'e got tourneys coming up and practice every sunday. these are all the mods i've done to it if this helps; new designs volumizer, std lpr, check it uni mount, cp trigg, and hybrind neck.(i also reversed the spring stack in my mini reg for hp).

every thing worked good last week, but after i cleaned it today it took a dump.

Paintsweeper - Was it working fine with this set-up and then all of a sudden stopped working correctly?

hey guys, i just fixed the problem. it had to do with the LPR pressure being too low, i played with the lpr for a while and the ram popped back.
now thats fixed but for some reson my eyes always say that they are blocked. i'v cleaned them until they were spotless, i still think somthing is wrong with my solonoid

MAke sure your battery is a new one and try agin also ckeck your connections to the baord make sure they are in snugly.

take out your eyes and covers and ribbon so the whole eye system is out. check for rips or tears in the ribbon. clean the whole ribbon. if everythings clean and what not, then you most likely got bad eyes. worst comes to worst, thats what mts are for

Actauly, it does sound like your selenoid problem. I encountered a similar problem and I had to replace my selenoid and good luck with that...

Mine did thise only cause when I was greasking my evole valve, I forgot to put the spring back in.
