need G7 HP or LP help

I have recently acquired a G7 and have been reading up on the HP vs LP air tank issue for the G7 mini reg. Have seen both will work and then only LP will work and its starting to get a bit confusing. Can someone give me a definitive answer on which to use? I currently have a 45/5k HP tank. I have access to an LP tank if needed. Just need some sort of clarification so I dont blow up the mini reg. thanks

ALL techs and master techs recommend using LP for a G7 especially. However some people have had success BUT only with some type of mod. Your best bet is to go to the thread called "ASK FRAZER" and ask him

thanks for the info sportsman. That was the way I was leaning. Better to err on the side of caution. Not really into modding the mini reg.

As for your sig question . . .Id go with the halo b and rip unless you want to wait for the reloader b2's with the adjustable sound sensitivity option.

I did not have a LP tank when I first got my G7 so I used a HP tank for the first two weeks. I was able to use it right out of the box, but I had to adjust all the way down to get under 300fps. I also noticed a huge reduction in "kick" when I switched to the LP tank. Basically, it can work, but you are 1000x better off to get a LP tank.

1865 - Tried the HP I have on it this weekend. Know what ya mean by kick. I foresee an LP tank in my immediate future. Thanks for the help and advice.
