Board doesn't seem to fit right?

My new tadao board doesn't seem to fit right. The middle button is being constantly being push down by the outside button. Is this the way its supposed to fit?
I have SS buttons, could that be a problem?

I know that the SS buttons are a bit longer than the plastic buttons, right? If so, it sounds like you may be right.
