I own a Dark LCD 2002,
I notice that they advertised it as a Low Pressure setup. Any idea what they mean by low presure?
Do they menan lower than the stock?? I kind of got that from the old ad I was reading, but maybe I just took it wrong.
I am running about 675 -700 out of my tank to the mini reg now.. I have no idea what the LPR is set at but I assume that its about 85 -90 as it should be?

I'm assuming you're running an adjustable reg, I run my AIR at about 550 into my IR3, on an LCD you're LPR should be about 85-90, you should really check that instead of just assuming that it's okay.

Paint guns when they first came out ran around 500-400 psi for the gun to operate and fire at the proper speed. Now days the higher end guns run about 200 or lower. When they say low pressure they are talking about what your LPR sends and puts on the ram which in turn is transfered to the paintball. The lower the pressure, the thinner the paintball shell can be and the more chance it will mark instead of bouncing. (I hate when that happens.) Hope that makes sense.

Yes its an adjustable reg. It works just fine. but you are correct. I will be speaking with my local shop about getting testing kit.

I have a 2001 Dark angel LCD with flame milling. I run 800 from the preset tank, into the mini reg, from the mini reg it goes into the gun about 500 or 520 PSI..... And my LPR was set a few weeks ago at 87 perfectly........
Hope this helps
