What's so special about Dezign bolts? I went to their website and saw what looked like a bunch of really expensive venturi style bolts. Is there something I'm missing?

Also, does anyone know anything about Jam bolts? It's another aftermarket bolt for the Angel I've heard about.

from what i've heard they are made of a higher tolerance material which allows them to fit tighter in the breech thus allowing less air to escape from around the bolt, with this extra air, there is a noticable increase in fps

I have one of these in my G7, the material shows no wear whatsoever, looks like the bolt is still brand new. It's open face, and has a smooth ramp inside the bolt to guide the air flow. I'm more than happy with it.

The pin is set with a dummy then machined round, removed and replaced with the finished pin ensuring a perfectly round bolt to breech match using the highest grade material with non swelling self lubricating material called Ertalyte tx rather than delrin or nylon.( otheres will follow this was said two years ago)
The patent was awarde in june of 2003. the bolt has been made since Jan 2000. the quality of the bolt has gotten better but the price has remained the same since 2000.

I have been thinking about getting a Dezign bolt, but I am not sure whether to get the Open Face or the Venturi bolt design. Anyone have any thoughts on the difference between the two and any advantages one may have over the other? I have read this thread that El Pirata provided in another thread:

and it makes the Open Face look a little better. However I want to hear from users as to what they think.

DEZign bolts are the absolute best bolts around hands down. Just read around the forums to see haw many people criticize this bolt. That would be none that I have seen. Look at pbreview, that would be a 10. I have had one of these bolts for over a year, and pheonomenal is the word to describe these bolts. Excellent customer service by Robert.

Thanks for the info. I've also been considering the Dyna bolt at www.docsmachine.com They claim it solves the rollback problem that many Angel users experience.
