I was having problems charging my LCD so I checked the output of my charger with a voltmeter. When plugged into a 12 vaoly car port, it's output is 12 volts to the marker. The charger is rated for 6 volt output. Is this charger bad? Could this have fried my board?

Car should have worked fine when charging. Is there something wrong with your board now?

Can't tell since I have no power or charger. Again, I decided to turn the whole mess over to MarK Costa.
