The rod in the breech might be too tight. But surely you can just unscrew the back plate then remove the rod out.

DarkAngel2k2
01-25-2006, 08:51 PM

ok take barrel off and using a swab or squeegee push against the bolt, dont §§§§§ around, really push. the reason for this is sometimes a piece of the shell becomes lodged in between the bolt and frame and does not allow the bolt to fully return to the rear.

the first time i did this i was afraid id break it but dont worry. do not use anything really hard as you do not want to break the soft face on bolt.

i put a peice of padding in there, put the plastic hard end of a screwdriver in there and smacked the §§§§ out of it with a hammer and nothing but I dont think its the bolt thats forward

OK. Look at where the pin comes out of that hole. Is it back far enough that it is not still in the breech?

firemedic30
01-25-2006, 09:51 PM

Can you wiggle the breech ANY???? Or is it so tight that it won't move??

DarkAngel2k2
01-25-2006, 09:54 PM
you can wiggle the breech until the bolt hits the top of a part that dosent go up.... i cant push it back at all with anything though = /

try to work on the two breech screws. They are the very little screws on either end of the gun!

Your ram may be too far forward. Take off the back plat and unscrew the ram until the breech can open.

Good call Luc. The whole time I was reading this thread that's what I was thinking.

Be careful when reinserting the ram/hammer assembly. Make sure the hammer is pushed back against the ram and slowly screw it into the tube till you see the groove completely in the slot in the breech. After that, I'd try and close the breech with the bolt in the right position and listen for a metal to metal click that is the bolt pin rubbing against the back of the groove. If the ram is too far forward, you should take it out and start over.

Luc your my hero FIXED!!!!
Well just doing my job, as a unofficial, untrained, uncertified, unmotivated, angel wanabee master tech. I prefer to fix tippmann's then angel but well some things on angels are simple enough.

I just tought you guys would have though of that by now, I just said what I did when my ram was too far forward. But yeah your welcome.
