I was wondering why I should get an angel and why you guys shoot angels. (other than because they are easy to maintain) There are so many good guns out there that I want to make sure i get the right one. If I make a mistake that is a lot of money going down the drain. Sorry if i'm asking to many questions but i'm seriously looking into buying one of these beast in a few months. Thanks for your help!

I like the feel, the balance, the quality, the everything that hgroberts said above, and the fact that they are pretty rare in my neck of the woods.

combine the highs of every high-and gun on the market, throw it all together, and you have an angel

Above all and by far the most important....
....they're shiny!
Mmmmm shiny...
I shoot angels because they are what feels good to me. I have owned countless (okay, so 29 isn't countless) guns since I started playing paintball. And I won't ever shoot anything BUT angels from now on. I have made the mistake several times of selling my angel for something else. But in time I always return.
Easy to maintain, just as fast as anything else out there, dead sexy, light (at least the new ones), and just damn fine shooting guns. :)

plus the build quality and looks of them are mint. The angel doesnt look bitty and that like some guns out the 3. Plus not everyone has an angel unlike the ego so be the best get an angel and dont be sheep

I like it because out of all the markers I have owned I have yet a need to replace any part of my angel. I'm uber happy with the way it is.
ease of use
no need to UPGRADE parts out of the box
super clean lines and contours = easy cleaning
so very air efficient
It's like owning a lotus, compared to all the fords and chevy's and kia's and saturns and and and and. . . . . .got my drift?
Everyone starts out a little rough, first breaking in the marker, identifying leaks, clean/grease/oil parts as necessary, I do it in that order. shooting some more, fine tuning it more, and finally getting to play with it. Alot of people make the mistake/assumption that all markers are ready out of the box. basically untrue Unless you bought your marker from an angel Tech to tunes them before shipping out. Every High performance machine has it's break in period and tuning period no exception.

I chose my first angel as a battle. My team switched to angels. up to that point i hated them and shot trixes. i went through the typical gripes during the breakin period. but in a tourney, when the paint was poor, and the field lookedlike a kitchen aid demo, our angels shined through. that was impressive, and i have been a dedicated user ever since. that first angel is still in my gear bag and i break it out every now and again, and it has YET to fail. all original, mostly stock. its my dust red A4 fly. now it is my tusted backup to my new G7 fly... never even had a break in gripe. buy from an MT, they really send you a ready to fly marker....

Sorry, poor analogy, I have owned a Lotus and the name is an acronym:
Loads
Of
Trouble
Usually
Serious
Its quality British engineering at its best, more like an Aston Martin, trust me I’m right on this one, if your into mountain bikes its like a set of Hope disk brakes, or even a John Whyte bike, its like a Ducatti that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to service. The guys that make them could easily be designing/making parts for racecars or aircraft. If you get to try one out for long enough you’ll want one!

I must concur, I've no experience with LOTUS, I just LOVE thier body styles it's SOOOOOOO sexy. I bet I could get laid more owning a lotus than a chevy which is why I made that anology, you could probably get laid more owning an Angel than a SPYDER But I wouldn't take that to the bank. I do agree with you on the Aston Martin front. And yes I do enjoy the occasional mountain biking, Challenge Park Features Mountain biking trails, Paintball fields, and BMX/Skate parks.

Yep, you could describe an angel as sexy too!
Maybe I'm baised, but the best of the best often carries a 'Made in England' tag, and is often only available in limited quantities. Not withstanding that, there are brilliant engineers and designers the world over.
(Btw, Lotus is owned by the S. Koreans now, used to be that GM had a big stake, and at one stage Toyota, and also the founder of the company I should be working for now, don't get me wrong, I like the product, but their not easy to live with.)

My angel had a rough break in period. My G7 Fly had very inimpressive consistancy, it chopped, and it was not as efficient as I had expected. Now that I have about 15,000 shots through it, I have it fine tuned, and it shoots ropes with no problems at all. Very consistant at the chrono, and I don't chop nearly as much.
