slow recharge

well i had just gone to mo field last last week and i noticed thurout the day my balls were dropping short. my velocity was 250 (indoor) also it seemed like the recharge was very slow.(lpr is at 65) I took apart my reg on the speed( 05) cleaned and greased it. just wondering wut else i can do or help to help this. Oh I was using Blaze paint.And iv only really shot about 4-5 cases thru it. My main concern is the recharge. I can deal with the dropage to a point but its annyoing me that it is shooting rather slow. Thanks

make sure your tank is not the problem,
when i first got mine, we used my friends tank and he insisted on screwing it in all the way, and then turning my on off all the way on until it stopped
this led to shootdown like crazy, after about the 20th or so ball it would drop off like crazy, barely making it 30 feet

so, with that said, check your tank, try someone elses
if you screw the tank on as much as possible and turn your on off on all the way, try not doing that

i realize that with some on/offs, the valve is not pushed by the user, rather a quarter turn swith or a push button is used to turn it on and off, with me, my check it you can turn the knob until it won't go any farther

well if i dont turn my on/off all the way it kinda backs out alil from shooting. and what exactly do you mean not turning the tank all the way in? shouldnt the pin be fully pushed in?

Well, this might sound stupid, but on some tanks, if the pin is pushed in all the way, it wont allow air out. But dropoff is also another reason I ditched my stock reg, and also because of inconsitantcy.
