9volt and Fly board

I'm working on a BKO to Angel project and had a question. The Fly board run's off a 4.8 volt battery right? Well could I make it run on a 9 volt? Would it fry the board if I just hooked it up straight? Or is it just cause that is what the solenoid runs off cause I'm using a timmy noid.

well i dont really know the answer to ur question but y not get an 05 speed board? or a predator board? or any other board that runs off of 9 volts ... that way u dont have to worry about modding it to work w/ 9 volts and its a sure thing that it will work ... good luck

I didn't want to have to deal with modding a newer frame. Not to mention I hate the newer frames. I guess I could just get a newer board to fit in the A4 frame.
