Taking out the angel eyes...

Well it finally happened, I got paint on my angel eyes. So I am taking them out. I know you have to push them out from the inside with something, but they won't come out. I have been pushing with a really small allen wrench and I tried a tooth pick, but they just won't pop out. Also can I scratch eyes while doing this? The manual suggested a blunt pick so I figured that scracthing them wouldn't be a concern. Anyways I could use some help quick on this cause I have to ball tommorow.

after you take out the eye covers and you have the ribbon exposed, use like a 1.5 mm Allen Wrench and poke it from the inside of the breech
