Ok, I decided I am going to put out a post about Paintball in Minnesota for anyone that visits here or lives here and just doesn't know.
Indoor Fields:
FSL Paintball Arena (Ramsey, MN) - Newest indoor field. Has 3 fields (45 x 90) that are netted off, but can be joined to create 1 huge field or 1 small with a medium size field. Sup Air bunkers, with large soft woodshavings covering the dirt floor. They have their own compressor for HPA, fill up to 4500psi no problem. Huge Staging/Players Area. Shooting range, Proshop and a lounge. Field Paint only ($90/case - Player session its $65/case), Field fee is $20 (includes all day air - Players session its $10 w/ air), chrono is 250 fps. Open Plays and Special Tourny Players' Sessions scheduled. Contact number: (763) 780-8461
Slat, You're Out! (Blaine, MN) - 2 indoor fields, 1 Sup Air (size of a small 5 man field) and the other an small urban CQB style field. Concrete flooring with saw dust used as an absorber. Medium sized players area with vending machines. HPA is run off of bulk tanks with a booster (sometimes able to fill to 4500psi), CO2 also available. Decent Proshop. Field paint only ($90/case - Players Session its $80/case), Field fee is $12 (does not include air - Players session no field fees), HPA is $1/1000psi, chrono is 250 fps. Open Plays and Special Team sessions scheduled. Contact number: (763) 754-8596
Splatball, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN) - Oldest indoor field in Minnesota. Has 1 indoor field, urban CQB style with barrels. Flooring is concrete with spray-on-grit material to avoid slipping. Field is somewhat dark. Small/Medium players area. Decent Proshop, has some higher-end stuff available. HPA and CO2 available. Field paint only ($110/case), Field fee is $20 (does not include air), HPA is $2/1000psi, chrono is 250 fps. Contact number: (612) 378-0385
Outdoor Fields: (This is by no means an exhaustive list)
Adventure Zone (Rosemount, MN) - Field paint or BYO paint ($10 charge per person for non-field paint, unless bought at their proshop). HPA by bulk tanks and booster, 4500psi possible. CO2 available.
PGI (Baldwin, WI) - (Yeah, I know, thats in WI, but alot of MN players go there, its close) HPA and CO2 available. I don't have further information as I've never played there.
FSL Paintball Arena (Ramsey, MN) - TBA
Splatball, Inc. (Rosemount, MN) - Field paint only unless you have a membership. HPA and CO2 available.
Tournament Series/Circuits: (I'm not going to retype all individual tournies as there is already a list, and there are alot of tournies)
Polar Bear Circuit - Operated by PGI. 3-man, 5-man and even 10-man format events. www.polarbearcircuit.com
NLPL - 5-man event.
MXPL - 5-man and 7-man events. www.grudaddy.com
Sup Air Bowl - This is a single event indoor tournament (63 teams this past year, 2003). Operated by Splat-Tag and Crossfire Paintball. 3-man event. www.supairbowl.com
These are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head, there are a whole lot more places in MN to play paintball. Check out www.mnpig.com for more information on fields and tournaments in Minnesota.
If you have more, please add it to this thread, thanks.
