Hello, sorry if this is posted somewhere else but I haven't found it. I just purchased a new 05 speed only because i got an awesome deal on it and i've always wanted an angel. I was wondering if I could use a regular 47/3000 HP tank on my angel or if I HAVE TO HAVE LP tank? Also, i am not planning on putting many up's on it because it's awesome enough, but I am going to put on a few. Which are the most important? Any other suggestions on cleaning it, disassembling, or anything i should know would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks

Well I can answer this question because I used a 47/3000 on my 5peed for like a few minutes, lol.
first off, the 47/3000 is HP, you will not be able to chrono under 300fps unless you buy a reg adapter and a new reg, which is completely retarded.
Second, you would only get about 400 shots (2 hoppers) off of it, I got about 380 shots off of mine, not enough.
So get a LP Tank, I know it pains you and your wallet, but it is definately worth it!

and ditch the tank for a crossfire LP 68/4500. trust me it will make a big difference.

the P.E. is HP. the centerflag is most likely HP also.

I shoot the PE on my impulse and my son shoots the CenterFlag on his 05 Speed. No problems or modification on both.
This thread got me wondering about it and the tanks don't say if it's HP or LP (unless you have to decypher it).

all P.E. tanks come HP from the factory. you have to buy an LP kit to make it LP. crossfire has an hp and an lp reg labled by the color sticker that is on them. red is hp blue is lp. most centerflags are hp except of course the adj. ones. The angel air screw-ins are also LP.

Thanks for the info. My reg is kind of gun metal blue and wasn't really sure if that was intentional as a marking or not, so I called CeterFlag and this is what I was told.
Look at the bottom of the reg nearest the tank, where the fill nipple, burst disk, and gauge are located. If it's round, then it's low pressure. If it's hexed, it's high pressure.
So mine is low pressure.

Hehehe, as a new angel owner too I was getting concerned about this, had ordered a lo pressure kit for my PMI/68, but the UK distributor seems unable to supply :( So had a look around today and have just found a Angel Air (Snow Leopard - Silver) for 1/2 price, and its all new and shiny too!
Gonna have too change ny sig to 1/2 price and my username to Bargain Hunter :)

Ok. . . thanks for helping me decide that. Now I've been researching LP tanks for a few days and have narrowed it down to the following:
NitroDuck Plasma LP 68/4500
Air America LP 68/4500
Crossfire Lp 68/4500
And lastly I can get a good deal on an Angel air 68/4500 Adjustable
They are all around $200 except the Angel Air which is less than $150.
Thanks
