unfortunatly, I wont be able to make the tryouts at the current set dates beacuse Friction is doing Ultimate Madness (killing my wallet) lol

also.. before I consider trying out, when you say "Will need to be financially able" how much per event and how many events per year are you planning on doing? (just a ballpark estimate) so ill know how much Ill be expected to make for each event.

I work, i run my own business, and I work some on the weekends, so money isnt a problem for me, however some insain amount like 20,000 a year or something is way out of my league. I was figureing about 500 per PSP event with friction for hotel, gas (if i drive, if im flying add another 250 or so) entry, and my share of team paint. Would it be much more then that for NPPL super 7?

I doubt it, I can always try... i want to pretty bad dude.. its just I only have 350 right now, and with splatterparks 17 entry fee and expensive paint (i never got a splatterpass) LOL so yeah... id be limited to 1 case if i did come..

Also 1 more thing...
"If your a kid, a legal gaurdian must be present at all events"... wtf is up with this? that would make it impossible for me to play with you all... im only 16, will be 17 3rd of august, but my parents trust me, and dont intend on attending any national events... i can drive, i can fly, and I am pretty responcible so if i made it, maybe you could consider stretching the rules for me? I can assure you of 1 thing, you wont have to be a baby sitter HAHA

if I knew for a fact I had a good shot at gettin on the roster, id probably ditch out on U.M. or just go to watch or something....

Let me be honest with you.. the whole reason I want on an adult-based team is beacuse adult teams work alot smoother and more professionally then "all-kids teams". Ive noticed how hard it is to get my teamates to do things at practice... adult teams get things done, and if its a good team, they do it right.

Ive met arti, hes a pretty cool guy... never met you at least I dont think, but im sure I will soon enough.

Splatter park is very expensive, play at extreme in xenia. I am working on a field review as of 03/22/03.

Buddy, splatterpark is expensive, however... they do have a thing called a splatterpass, which If i made it on the roster, then I would be buying one FAST... with a pass for 125, you get free entry, and discounted paint for the rest of the year. Some fields charge a 10$ air charge for all day air, so do the math when you dont have to pay air at SPLATTERPARK, you really arnt paying that much more!

Read the post you reply to first, take some time and think about the post, then deside if you wanna start runnin your gums. just sit back and wait for the field review then it will be nice to see your thoughts. I must have something better in store than splatterpark has to offer.

Having a memebership at splatterpark makes it really cheap.. of course it depends how much you play.

If you have a membership, you get free air fills and you can bring your own paint.

I think it is $150 for a full years membership. That pays for itself real quick when you bring your own paint.

They also have fields for scenario and rec ballers which is a plus. So it isn't just hyperball and sup air.

I look forward to seeing the review on extreme. Is there a website? How far is it from columbus?

ya there wasnt a big turn out since it was in the 30's. I guess we will have to wait until its warm. but we had fun.

nope they dont have any airball fields at the moment, but last i heard he was ordering one and it will be there soon, they sold all their other ones.

Really they only set it up if there is team pratice or they wanna be nice, thats why i was wondering. But GinxD will be at madness mabey you guys will win one.

ya they are being pretty gay out there, if you have a membership your not aloud to bring your own paint anymore, and i knew that they didnt setup airball all the time, they say its because they dont wnat to damage it from to much play, but i really think they are to lazy to set it up. We will see what happens this season. If we dont get kicked out for using our own paint first.

You're allowed to bring your own paint. They just didn't want us to use Kickn because kickn pulled the deal from supplying them.

We will continue to bring our own paint even if it is Kickn. If they decide to kick us out for using Kickn, they will have a lawsuit on their hands.

When I renewed my membership last Sat, the contract said I can bring my own paint. It didn't say we can bring our own paint unless it is kickn.

If they discriminate against using kickn, we are going to own the field.

Go at it, i have heard that the BYOP changed this year, didnt make enough money. I am almost done with my field review on Xtream it is a little far but i happen to like the place. Arti you asked for a link here it is www.xtremepaintballfield.com. the site needs to be updated like almost all other paintball field sites but in my review i will have actual prices. just a teaser Less than 100 for the year membership, free air, BYOP, And Airball all the time.

Yeah btw matt.. they didnt sell nothing at all... the 10 man airball field never was theirs in the first place. The field was owned by team Gforce, gforce packed it up, and left...

I was wrong... Air is not free if you have a membership at Splatter park (CO Paintball)..

After thinking about it.. I don't think the membership is worth it. We need to look for another field.

ill get cha the info on the 10 man field SPLAT pb fild & PRO SHOP by massilin area... its where friction practices.. we are partially sponsored by them... 10 man airball...... deal warped sportz products, at least here recently ive saw some rock angels, a class or 2, pretty nice field... needs some publicity and good teams to support it. ill post info soon..

Luckdog, Xenia is closer to dayton, about 1 1/2 hours away from you. Get that air compressor and practice at quest field!

Agg... when i talked to that big dude who claimed that he OWNS splatterpark, and i later found out he is only the "MANAGER"... he told me that CO PAINTBALL was NO longer a part of splatterpark. I said oh really? He said Nope.. i said why? he said long story.. i said THen howcome your tokens still say CO PAINTBALL for air.. and it still sais CO's Splatterpark... lol no responce..

They don't use the tokens anymore either... they use tickets.. i don't know what is printed on the tickets though.

Luckdog.. let's look into the costs.. actual costs of a sup air field from you know who... and also a compressor... That way we could do private practices... If we want to, we can always set it up at splatter park or 68 caliber.

C.O.P.S, is the largest paintball store in Columbus, therefor they have a huge "fanbase". I also believe they discriminate on alot of things. Looks like the majority of us live in columbus or can travel, I say we get together and play sometime and meet each other.

if we win madness, we could just let ya use that airball field, that away you wouldnt have to pay for one... ginxd is playin there, so is friction, thats 2 shots at it.. i think we both stand a fair chance. 5 man tourney field to first place... compressors can be found cheap on ebay, but dont get a diesle compressor, they turn the air black, and then it builds up gunk inside your gun....

There will be a total of 5 airball fields up for grabs at madness, Also alot of good team members are playin on unknown teams to try and win one. Its gonna be a BATTLE :smile:

I am in dayton. There is I-70 paintball in huber heights, which is all sorts of close to me. No field fee on wednesday, $4 fee for nonfield paint, no required membership. The only real problem is the field. Pretty small, outdoors (obviously), on pea gravel. If anyone is interested in directions or anything drop me a line at Audumla on AIM or Eromerker@hotmail.com, I'll see what I can do.

Also I can get prices for a case, it is a little high but not too Xtreme (heh cause they have highly overpriced paint) (sorry) (about the crappy pun) I wanna say it is around 50 or 60 a case, also air fills are around 3-5 dollars or something, not sure if they offer all day air or what. I can find out if anyone is interested though.
