Angel Pressicion !

hi guys, i get my speed 06 like 1 week ago, the 1st game i play it i was using a WEAPON GRADE paint, was a nice paint, my gun only brake like 10, then i get a KARNAGE case, OMFG, i shoot like 800 shoot and my gun brake like 650.
i was a lil dissapointed whit the pressicion and paint, and i was blaming the barrel, i go to the store where i get my angel and the storeseller say me "is not the barrel, is the paint, take this MARBELIZER case and try it" when i was at home i get like 300 balls and shoot whit it ...... was amazing 0 brakes and amazing pressicion at like 5 feets =P, yesterday at night i go to play paintball, my the stupid barrel was braking alot of MARVELIZER paint, also de pressicion was real NASTY !

what is the real problem here ?
a) paint
b) barrel
c) the gun
d) ME

im using a HP tank 4500 / 71, the original regulator and original barrel.....

what i can do to get better pressicion ?

Where are you breaking paint? If it’s in the barrel then you either have crappy paint or it’s too big for the barrel. When I first bought my G7 I was too impatient to sand my ReloaderB down before I used it. Needless to say it didn’t fit all the way and I was breaking paint left and right, all the breaks were in the breach though, not the barrel. Since I sanded the loader and added a little lube to the feed neck, thanks Trig, I haven’t broken a single ball.

Also I know my G7 requires a low pressure tank, not sure about the 06 speeds. I'm not sure if that's the problem but if you're using a high pressure tank on a low pressure marker I know it can't be good.

Anyway good luck and try Evil Paintballs. They've always worked the best for me.

sounds like its a paint to barrel match that is off.

or what is the temperature where you play ?

if its cold the paint breaks easier in the barrel if your using summer formula paint in winter conditions.

Also try seeing your manual with tips on breaking in and setting dwell timing with ball breakage.

yea sounds like you need a better paint to bore match. it might be a combination of COLD weather and HUGE paint

If you mean HP as in High Pressure Output, (like 800 psi), you need to switch tanks.

But it can be anything, really, most likely it is the paint/bore match.

Thx alot for the replys guys .... i live in mexico, 20 miles from san diego so its not a cold weather =P and yeah im using a High preasure tank.

i will keep trying more paint and get a CP barrel whit a 3-4 Bore's.

also, what i can do to get pressicion ? voluminizer ?

okay bro 1st thing u need to do is get rid of your hp tank trust me get rid of it 2nd it is your paint to bore that your having problems with u have two options to solve this problem u can buy a aftermarket barrell and have different sized backs 4 all sorts of paint buy like a dye ultralyte or a cp barrell there good or stick with more expensive paintballs our entire team shoots angels 06 speeds and g7 cause where sponsored by them and we use xball gold and empire paintballs and we dont have any problems at all and as far as volumizers u dont need 1 at all dont worry about that

use the word "accuracy", not precision...two different things. your case involves accuracy.

you need low pressure tank remember? go to velocity and ask them to change your tank to low pressure output; theyll change it for you. also on your settings, what is your dwell set at?

yea your dwell needs to change, listen to SD he knows..... he knows.....

well his dwell dosnt need to change till he breaks in the gun 3-7 cases thru it but u could turn down your output pressure!!!!!

My gun actually floated about 12 ft before falling and knocking me unconsious

4500 psi tanks hold more air.

When you use a High pressure tank on an 06 speed... your Velocity goes up Considerably......
the higher force exerted by the gun Would cause many more breaks, adjusting the dwell like they said before could help...

Also... another thing that could lead to your gun chopping... if you have Gunk oozing out the Eye covers.... then since you have Break beam eyes... its just gonna think theres a ball in the chamber constantly.... and trying to Shoot through all that nasty paint sludge, and nasty bits of shell will cause your gun to go from "Nice 06 speed" to "Paint blender and a half"

I was just throwin idea's out there....

But.... with a higher veolcity, that wouldnt pass a field chronograph... did you just use all those balls on targets or something?

I would say change ur tank to low pressure i had the same problem but then changed me tank and it shoots fine and i have now only had bout 4 breaks from 5000 rounds. But it could be paint you need to use good paint in ur speed as i have been told
