I am thinking of selling my ego in about 5 months to get something else. I want either a DM6, ego 06, or a 06 speed-G7 fly (havent decided) My main question is can you detach the eye from the little hole it looks through because on my freinds 05 speed they are really tight and i dont think you can take them out, but i wouldnt know because its his not mine. But, please try not to be biased, what do you think i should get. if you have used any of these guns please tell me any problems you have had with them.

You have to pop the eyes out from the inside. Out of those I would get a DM6 even though I hate DYE.

why would you get the DM6?

Well, I can't really say that the other guns are bad. It is just that I like the spool valve design which makes the gun shoot amazingly well.

ive shot one, it was impressive, unfortunatly they have been having many problems with them, i myself have an 06 "gat" and love it, i wouldnt rather have any other gun, but if you want a spool valve gun id suggest a proto 6 so far there have been no problems with them and they shoot exactly the same as the dm6 and they are actually a little lighter (correct me if im wrong) im looking to pick one up at the moment:boobies:

I love my speeds! That said, yes the eye ribbon is delicate, but if you take your time, they come out easily and are not a problem to clean.

The angels are easy to clean and maintain, plus (when tuned properly) will shoot darts!

My suggestion for you would be to see if you can find one of each at your local field or store and ask if you could shoot it. The only way to really be sure that you have picked the right marker for you is to try out many beforehand.

I think it's funny no one has noticed, but the eye holes on the 06 speed, gat (same thing), and g7 fly have been milled larger, so you don't need to push the eyes out from the inside. They just come out now, but what keeps them perfectly aligned is the eye ribbon harness.

Yeah, I would stay away from the DM6. The two that my shop sold so far have been crap out of the box. Both have had board problems, reg problems, eye issues, etc. My choice would be 06 Speed, G7 Fly (have one), or 06 EGO.

That stinks about the DM6's. They could be really good if they were reliable.

okay man the 06 speeds and the g7 flys are real nice are entire team shoots those guns cause we are sponsored by them but im not telling u to get 1 cause that i rep 1 but they are real easy to mantain and shoot ropes and are accurate on the other hand the 06 egos i hear are okay the only thing that changed from the 05 ego is some milling and board stuff so i dont know about that and the dm6 are having alot of problems i know alot of people that have them and they already had to send them back to dye 4 some stupid reason that should of been not broken when they got them out of the box but they werent so dont get 1 of those unless u want problems any way angels are by far the nicest gun ive ever shot there consistent over the chrono and accurate but best of all they RIP........
