Board Problem

I just got back from Pbing today and my board was really acting up. The board would boot up and show a full battery then it would show that a ball was in the breach. Once it finally finished it would just turn off and not shoot. I tried a new battery and i still had the same problem. I also adjusted my trigger with no luck. Also I v7 so i dont think it is the light issue.

it sure sounds like a weak battery.

by chance did you get water on the board? (if you had a short to ground that would make it look like the battery was weak.)

no i did not get water on the board that i know off. But at first i thought it was a weak batt. So i replaced it with no luck.

new marker or just get it second hand?

got an mt close by?

here's another thought... know anyone else with a speed 05? you could swap the board and see if the problem moves.

Try unplugging the LCD board wait a few seconds and then reassembling the main board and LCD together again. Not the same board as I have but it worked on mine.

the marker was used from a friend, but worked when i got it. I have had it for about 4 months. I will the unplugging and replug the board. Oh and i do not have an MT near by.

Too many BS problems with it... Too sunny out..... Not hot enough... RaM not adjusted.....Lack of testing prior to release...

I finally used my 05 for a boat anchor and picked up an 06 EGO!

Wow. I have shot an 06 ego and still i have never had anything shoot better than my 05 speed. Any way i hope you enjoy you ego as they are great guns.

the light shutdown issue was fixed. and I don't really know how they could have done that much better than they did. not everyone had the problem and it's pretty hard to recognize and correct a problem when it only shows up some but not all the time.

If you read the helpful links at the top of this forum you'll see that ram adjustment is not an issue for 05 speeds.

Must be a yacht if you're using a speed for an anchor.:notsure:

FOr angel elctroincs you must send your gun to an MT, just bight the bullet and get it over with

Did you try setting the board back to factoty default.......there is a button inside the grip frame that resets it.....

Make sure the contacts aren't broken or bent. Also, check the wires that go to the switch. If everything looks good, then send it off.

Sounds like you have the bright light shutdown issue. Get new software and see if that fix's it.

I have the newest software. So i cant get it upgraded.

unfortunately, i don't think there's a recourse other than to send it to an MT. I say unfortunate because it's time you won't have the marker available for use.

I will ship it out as soon as i can get to the post office. Since i can not think of any thing else to do.
