Clear up advantage / disadvantages of gutting the mini reg. Im still lost on that topic, like what input pressure to run, how to gut it, what to leave in what to take out.

Setting the Snap ring.........
Tighten the snap ring, and shoot after a couple turns, if the gun stops fireing, back the snap ring off a quarter turn, if it still does not fire, repeat..... once it fires, and shoots well...... the snap ring has been adjusted properly

Thanks DARk,I read that in the manual but wasn't sure if it was the best way.

jptricks, start a thread in the LCD or IR3 forum (depending on your gun, although it's the same) and you'll get help there.
I adjust mine as Dark says, but I also put blue loctite to keep it in place.

Sorry, I forgot to add, apply blue loctite to keep snap ring in place. Like C. Carles said above.

Is the adjustment of the LPR and the dwell settings for the LED similar to the LCD and IR3?

the lpr is but the dwell has a pot adjuster

Best way to tune the marker, starting with the mini-reg all the way to ram stroke. Also, the dwell and MROF settings.

Did a search and Ken had answered the MROF and dwell settings questione before here: http://www.angel-owners.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3205

Manufacturer and OEM model numbers of the solenoids used in all the Angels.
As I understand it the LCD and newer use SMC solenoids(SYJ series?) and the LED uses some different body with caps made by WDP.
Please clarify/correct/inform on this.

Also, please talk about the most efficient set up. For example an AIR with output psi at 650psi into a LCD at 90psi LPR with dwell at 13 and MROF at 16 (just examples). I'd like to know the best setups for the LED, LCD, IR3 and SPEED taking into account pressures and settings all the way through.

Yeah i agree with C Carles

According to Ron at Mo's the dwell should be at 16 and the MROF at 13 on an LCD. I'll be trying that out this weekend. The LPR at 90psi. I will be turning my mini-reg into a gas-through and running my AIR straight in. I will let you all know what output psi the tank runs at to achieve around 285-295fps. Will report back soon.

Put 2 - 3 drops of love juice or other good gun oil into the ASA (where your screw you tank in) or between the gun and the minireg and shoot your gun a few times with the bolt out.

Output psi should be around 400psi running the mini-reg as a gas-through according to Ronnie. I fired 2 hoppers this way with an old AIR reg with 68/4500 Lesbo tank and it seemed to fire off strings of 10bps very well. I had no chrono so I will report back with fps readings tomorrow, if I get the chance to swing by a field and do so.

Thats how mines set up.... Im getting 280fps at about 380psi using 45/45 Angel Air... Maybe I'll get to check out your setup tommrow!

I would realy like to know what (if any) Speed parts can be put into an IR3. I know the bolt works. I also heard that the LPR and the ram are compatable. What will this do for my IR3? Is the Board compatable? Can the IR3 board be upgrated to Speed like settings.
I love my IR3 and I am not jumping on the "Speed band wagon" but if I can buy some Speed internals that extend the life of my angel, make it easier to sevice and make it faster and more reliable then that would be great.
Basicly the question is "can the IR3's be upgrated (internaly) to speeds?"
Emmit

Jonny......at this time absolutely none of the parts are compatible.

Speeds! How to fine tune the lpr, regs etc.
Ken if you could give an overview as to how to go through and setup everything. IE the LPR, I would guess the ram would be the same as the rest.

Yeah, I like the speed idea. along with that please talk about what the output pressure of tank, output pressure of minireg, lpr, where to maintence and if 1 or 2 volumizers is best and wich side if only one should be put on. Thank you very much for your post, they have a lot of usefull information.

If you guys took the time to read the manual most of these topics are covered there. The Snap Ring and Ram Adjustment are in there. But I would really like to see what the best settings are for all the Angels, input pressure, LPR pressure and dwell. I know what the recomended are but you can get better ones, not being a tech or an airsmith I have no idea what to adjust.
