question 1-i have a flied LCD, ive been thinking about taking off most of the right dead air chamber, all except for the section beneath the eye cover/ribbon and in the back where the wiring goes through the frame up to the backplate, then replace the board with a drop in predator (or in the case of my 5 minute PS, a dm4/5 frame and electronics), to get rid of the battery... it would still work properly right?

question 2-what could i plug the hole with (where the wiring is)?

question 3-is there anywhere else that i could mill do lessen the weight?

question 4-anyone know of any good low-pressure mods?

eh, well i'll stay away from the harder questions :)

all i can do is offer some ideas on the milling? maybe you can take off some of the front where the barrel threads are, like the new flys

maybe some off the breach? dont know how thin the breach on that one is, looks like a dye angel? but like on my 05speed i noticed that the breach is still pretty thick and you could probably take something off, maybe even cut a slot in it so you can see the bolt moving around?

actually this is a 2k1 "butterknife" i just ps'd the breech a lil, its actually not too much different from the dye breech, i could get away with losing some weight on the breech.

you may call me crazy, but im planning to do this with a dremmel.... yes, a dremmel.

It will work with a dremmel but, it won't be perfect.

it should be ok with a dremmel. er ported and polished my exaust and intake valves on my dirtbike with a dremmel and it is amazing how good it is

now that i think about it, why dont you try cutting part of the front of the breach off so you can put a no-rise on there, maybe even as far as down to the bolt.... i dont see how it can effect the performance at all

im planning on getting a dm5 frame and electronics, if someone knows of someone selling them- hit me up!
someone have a dye asa or something short like one? im also going to be in need of a mini reg.
ive got lots of plans for this gun.

you pretty much wont ever make it a low pressure to compare to the likes of a g7 or that platform. But have fun cutting it up to drop some wieght and make it look good. Post some pics when done bro.
