I'm using a high pressure tank (800 psi output) on my a4 fly. I've only dry fired it and it sounds fine. Do I HAVE to mess with the regulator or is it ok the way it is? And another thing is when it was in demo mode and i was firing it as fast as i could the gun would choke a little as if it wasn't getting air fast enough. Is that the tank or my gun?
Settings- Tr 12, Dwell 9.

A couple things: TR 12 will easily ramp (illegal). You should keep it at 1.
You will have to mod your Minireg if you want to attain a legal velocity.
& demo mode seems to always do that. It is not uncommon at all. Just turn up your rate fire & turn the eyes off.

The only way to tell if the mini-reg needs modding is to chrono it. Some setups work fine with no mod, but most do need to be messed with.
Back when I had my Fly board, Dwell of 10 would work best for Demo. Note, though, I have a Conquest. Demo performance is based largely on the performance of your tank. If you have anything less than a Crossfire, Demo wount work right, at least without a lot of trouble. Even Crossfires have a tough time, from what I hear.
