Well ill be the owner of a Red 05 speed 45* in a few days..i just wanted to know if theres anything i should check before i decide to shoot it, and stuff like that..im buying it used from pbn from a mod..if that helps at all. Ive read almost all the stickys in the 05 speed forum.. so post sugestions on anything that would be helpful to me and my gun :)

P.s The speed has..Laser eyes, clamping feedneck, cp rail and on/off, volumizer, and the new soft wear..

You've got a great head start right there. I'd say slap a fresh battery in it, check the software settings. If they seem out of wack, reset them to defaults, then gas it up and check for leaks. If everything seems good, take her to a field, chrono and play!

if you've read the stickies here, don't do anything else until you test drive it several times. Figure out what tweaks you want to make. then ask here and someone will no doubt have done the same thing and can help.

ya my bad, software* lol..i was told it has ramping and a bunch of other crap on it now..

If it's the stock board, I believe it will only have PSP ramping. It's really all you need though. I find the stock 05 Speed board to be just fine, and I don't even have ramping on mine.

If the barrel is stock, get a nice freak kit. The stock barrel on my gun hated all paint. Now, the freak kit loves all paint and will nicely do the job :biggthump

Meh. Just get a nice CP 2 piece. Kits aren't really needed in my opinion. Or get a freak back and like 3 inserts. Definitely don't waste your money on a full bore kit.
