Video Editing

Are there any better video editing programs that are free besides Movie Maker? I am on XP. I have to do a project for school and I don't feel like buying some program that I will only use one time.

adobe premiere pro 1.5 is also free if you know where to look ;) and a great program at that

There's a lot of programs that are free if you know where to look. But if you want to be legit about it, then download Movie Maker 2 from Microsoft. It's better than the original. Besides, there aren't that many freeware video editors out there. Sometimes you'll receive a video editor program if you purchase a DV camcorder or DVD burner. I got Ulead Videostudio with mine.
