I know that the Tadao Board is now out for the 05 Speed and I was thinking about getting one.

For those who have one, could you post pros, cons, anything and everything you want to say about the board. Ease of settings, anything. Iv'e read the different settings I just want to know what you think of them compared to the stock board.

Anything would be appreciated.

Well for one, you will be getting a large amount of upgraded modes. Xtra easy dwell settings, bounce, etc......

Basically, you'll be taking a Speed and making it a G7, Fly, etc..

The micro switch is a much smoother feel than the stock OPTO.

As far as this board goes, it's the best thing since slice bread.

Haven't found a con yet!!!!

Get one!

well, i went balling today and my gun decided to start acting up
i have version 3 so i attribute it to the bright light shutdown thing, it was sunny and i would not shoot, there was a ball, eyes were clean, turned it off then on and it ran fine,

my question to you, should i
1) just put some tape or something to block the led's
2) get the board flashed
3) buy the tadao

i know that the tadao is much better but it is also much more

Wow, I know that the book talks about the bright light, but never actally heard of that in game play.

It all depends on your situation, wants, and desires. I would block the LED and see of that helps. However, if you have the money and want the upgrade, yes, the Tadao is a better board.

As a question, have you heard if the "flashing" fixes the "bright light" issue?

angelballer4life

i believe that versions 5,6,7 have the bright light thing fixed, versions 1-4 don't,

don't quote me on what versions have the problems, but i think that is right

i would assume so, with 12 different firing modes, dwell and stuff,

i am screwed if it doesn't, on second thought, it has to, how would anyone figure out what they were doing

I believe that there is a free software patch to correct that problem. So it would cost you either shipping or gas money to take it to the nearest service center.
If you don't feel like doing that, just go all out and tadao that beast.

If you have the board already, read the manual. It'll answer all those questions. If you don't have the board yet, read the manual that Thog posted. It'll answer all those questions.

The problem was i didn't know that the force 4 board was the same as the G7 board so once i had the G7 TADAO manual i was in business. I still would have been willing to pay $5 extra if it would have come with a manual. On another tone, this board is absolutely sweet, best $159 i ever spent (after my force of corse)

Bob, is there a manual out for the 04 Speed? Or is it the same as the G7?
