I know many people on these forums are ANTI AGD, so I figured I'd get enough flaming for mentioning anything about my past two e-mags I've owned. I've been playing for almost 7 years now and have #102 and #740 EMAGs, so it was time to update my marker. I wanted to start playing more competitively and I came across a trade for an Angel 05 Speed.

Which I will say, "I freaking love this thing!" E-mags were great but always seemed to give me a break at least once during any form of tournament play.

First off notice the post<-- (1), yes I'm a noob at Angels, but I was wondering if anyone would have some beginner feedback on an 05 Speed. YES, I have read the majority of the forums and other posts. I would just like some updated input for anyone looking to throw out some suggestions.

I love all the posts about how to make it faster....
"My fingers are slow, so I get over that" 13-16pbs.. is fine with me..

I have 1 main questions but I would still like some feedback on a noob that has never used an Angel before. I did play with it this weekend and everything ran flawlessly, and the local paintball owner did look at it and he loves Angels. "it did seem to have a very small leak in the back of the Angel"

My question:
Does it really help to remove the rubber bumpers/rings, they are called so many things on these forums, around the trigger to help keep a constant ROF or more towards raising the ROF?

My Setup at a quick glance:
Angel 05 Speed (stock)
Halo B (w/ shocktech drive cone)
Dye Throttle 70/4500 HP <-- considering trading for a LP
16" Freak Kit (metal backs)

Thanks, and I think I'm going to be keeping this Angel for awhile. I went through 2200rds and not a single break. "In dreams with either emag on a constant basis"

Congrats on your purchase.

I am not sure what that leak could be, it could be the soleniod, and correct me if i am wrong, but it might be one of the ram o-rings. I feel retarded saying this, but here it goes, part of the leak could be caused by the hp tank, and to much pressure on everything inside, just a thought.

The rubber washers(thats what i call em) can be taken out to help increase you rof but i see no reason to, unless you just feel like it. I think its fine the way it is right now. I personnaly still have mine in and might take em out, but not anytime soon.

About the hp tank, I would probably go ahead and trade. It will work, as you saw when you played, but over time it could cause internal problems, plus the reg could wear out faster from hainge too much stress constantly put on it. Your shots might not be as consistent with hp.

Thanks,
I heard and read a fair about about the HP and LP. I'm going to start looking for trades.

Definitely read the stickies, there is a lot of helpful info in them. The more you know, the easier it will be to maintain your marker and keep it shooting great.
Here's the helpful links thread for starters

Take the rubbers off the trigger and remove the magnet from the rear wheel and your angel will rip :)

What rubber bumpers are you guys talking about? The vernier wheels?

On the side of the trigger. Each side has a rubber washer between the side of the trigger and the grip frame, around the trigger pin. Remove those, and it will make the trigger pull smoother.
