tab key problems

hello, im new too angels so im very confused at the moment. i have a 200 lcd angel that i bough used and im having problems with the charging. when i plug the gun into the charger and the charger into the car nothing happens when the switch on the backplate it down. but when i flip the switch up it is saying that the tab key is in. i been searching on the internet for diagrams or something too show me where the tab key is which i have found but i don't see a tab key or where it plugs into. after i unplugged it i was alittle frustrated then andi flipped the switch up on the back of the backplate and it said safe is on. so my questions are:

1/ am i getting a charge but it doesn't show the battery bar on the screen cascading
2/ what and where is a tab key
3/ am i screwed

If you have a switch your marker doesn't have the tab key. Turn the marker on, then plug the charger in and the "Tab In" should not come up. It should start charging in a moment or two and the little battery indicator should start cascading.

ast night i tried everythng in exact order and everything but here's what happened. when i plugged it in and the swtich is down. nothing happens, and when the switch is up it says tab in.

just let it sit for a while. The LCD that i sold a while ago was doing that. but after a while the "Tab In" would go away and it would start charging properly.

:yawn: yeah i tried that last night but nothing happened. i left the switch up and that is when it said tab in and i checked it yesterday mourning and it was still the same

any other suggestions, cuz i opened the grip up last night and it looked fine but could it be the battery?
