Mini Reg Question?

I know this is probably a dumb question but better asked then broken. I used search for this so dont get mad at me. How do I take off the mini reg? I have tried turning it off and its on there like a rock. help please?

Take a towel and wrap around the gun, and put it in a vice, don't overtighten the vice though, then get a adjustable wrench (one that will not slip and scratch the piss out of the mini reg)....(preferrably a strap wrench) and turn the crap out of
