Hey guys i have a a4 fly. I used it yesterday with my egg II w/y board but i was disapointed becus it would not go past like 9 bps. and when i shoot in demo mode it couldn't keep up (stopped cycling) so this morning i took it apart and cleaned all the paint amd junk out. i did take the thing inside the gun out that pushes the bolt forward (ram?) but yeah. im using a lp tank with an output about 450 psi. when i turned the eyes off it went up to about 11 bps with paint but i know i shoot way faster. so now when i put it all together and air it up it doesnt leak but the dam bolt wont move forward. i manually pushed the ram forward with an allen wrench to make sure that it wasn't stuck and it was not. i took the noid out and wiped it off mabey i put it in wrong but i doubt it. please list all the possible problems and another thing i have NO idea how to bump up the lpr but i was thinking that was the problem.

If u know what ur doing there is NO problem with you taking it apart........
Do u know what ur LPR is set at???
Did u lube the RAM and everything...........LUBE THE BOLT even though most ppl think....ITS SELF LUBING....No such animal...I have been a Machinist for 4 yrs and worked with materials like that and all need some kind of lube....
My bet is that ur LPR is to low

i bought the gun used and i will be buying the LPR kit once i gain some more knowledge about the markers. I know everything about shockers and cockers but not too much about angels. the ram does not move at all neither the bolt unless i manually assist it so i am thinking lube is not the problem. I believe the problem is either something with the noid or the lpr pressure?

Are all of your connections properly placed in the board and in tight?
Make sure that you put your LPR in correctly, that includes the spring stack. If that doesn't do it...
Take your noid out again and make sure that the gaskets are in properly. You need to match the holes in the gasket to the noid, and then to the gun.
If you aren't sure, refer to the manual and if you don't have one, it can be found here: http://www.wdp.tv/manuals/

ok like 20 minutes ago i took it apart and the noid apart and lubed it and it works again BUT still cycles slow with air no more than 13 bps. the demo mode seems so slow with air but with no air it is amazing. can you help me with this?

This may sound obvious and stupid, but when your dry firing it, it is obviously with the eyes off correct. Well your MROF (mechanical rate of fire?) might be capped at 13 by user setting. You need to go in the menu and bump this up to a max of 25 if you want to dry fire it at that rate with the eyes off.

maxed rate of fire with eyes off is what mrof means
like if you cap it at 15 and you turn your eyes off, it will only go up to 15
but if you set it at 25, then 25 will be the cap

i wouldnt have your lpr at 80
bum it down to around 65ish
than dwell at 10
and try to adjust your ram
see if that works

manual says 82 psi for the lpr and Ken Crane says 60-70. the higher lpr pressure helped so i am not going to lower it until my problem is fixed.

That is only if you are not using a volumizer.

you know you may not even be shooting over 13 right. most people dont realize how fast 13 really is. i used to think i shot like 20 but in reality i only shoot 15-16.

ok i can pull it 24 bps according to the board and YES i am NOT a noob and know that measures the 2 closest shots so i will get to my point. when it will not go over 10 bps with air and paint with the eyes on that clearly indicates a problem. im not here to discuss how fast my fingers are because that is not the issue. IN DEMO MODE THE GUN SPUTTERS AND FAILES TO KEEP UP WITH THE BOARD AT 30 BPS is my main problem. and it wont keep up with 16 bps dry firing. my finger speed is another thing, im not a noob but im not a pro at walking.

I need help fixing the main problem here people. Here is the update: So far I have dissasembled the gun, cleaned the ram, lpr, minireg, solenoid, set the ram stroke, applied a little oil on everything, bumped up the lpr which did help a bit. And I do have the medium volumizer on. How do you know when the battery is done charging other than pulling out the charger and looking at the bars on the lcd?

up i need help
its my understanding that when the gun is done charging, it'll no longer say that its charging and it'll just switch over to safe mode. i could be wrong though.

Had the same problem with a A4 Fly Rasta.....
I talked to Frazer in the UK and he told me it could be the Lpr, he sent me a new one... and went over the settings, still could not get over 13bps ... In the end I sent it to Bob At FMA...He traced it to the nod and wireing... Now the thing rips......

i was thinking the same thing as a possible cause being the noid but was trying everything eles first. how much did it cost for that repair? and was urs under warrentee?

I went threw it all.... LPR at 70psi rapped shooting to make sure it did not fall below45psi..everthing work great just could not get it above 13bps...I was also told it was slow fingers ya ya ya....
My gun was still coverd under the warrenty, so there was no charge. Bob at FMA got that thing ripping. This one is a keeper ....
