05 frame/tadao board on fly [Archive] - Official WDP Angel Owners Group

Alright, I've got a 05 speed frame on my fly waiting for my tadao board to get here, and i was wondering. Would i need an 05 switch/wire (http://secure.fixmyangel.com/catalog-product371) as well?

Yes, you will need the switch wire. The one on your battery will not work.

if the plug is the same, you could bastardize your battery/switch harness and just make one. but then you couldn't sell your battery.

Plugs are different. You would need the same style plug from a solenoid.

I'm very confused by all this - if he has a Speed frame on a A4 Fly body and using the Tadao board, isn't it just a straight drop-in? Why would anything else be needed? I have a G7 frame on a Fly body with a Tadao board and it just dropped right in and works. Perhaps I'm missing the understanding of this post? Just looking to understand - that's all...

becuse the speed frame takes the speed 05 board that is 9 volt
