FBM hooker feedneck review

Well i just recieved mine a couple of days ago and i really like it, and since it doesnt look like these are very popular i thought i'd write a little review.

Well first of all the price was pretty good at $30, i paid an extra $6 or so to have it made into dust black as they are gloss black standard.

Ok, now the first thing i'll cover is what you see. The dust black i got was a bit off from the black WDP uses, but no problem, it looks great ayway. Secondly it was quite a bit lower than the stock feedneck which i really like.

It fit the gun perfectly and it boy does it clamp on to that halo :)

hmm, not much else to say, already tested it through a local tourny and it hasnt failed me once :evilgrin:

Are there any problems opening the breech? The neck looks very close to the breech block.

Seems to be a bit lower than the Circle feedneck. I still like it though.

I got mine at Caljam, but most stores should have some type of feedneck like this. I think Hybrid has one too.

I have the Redz on my G7 and A4. It works great on both. It just clears the breech on both markers.. Great product.....

That is nice, but i really still like my oem

only thing about the oem one is that no matter how tight you make it, my halo would always still wobble in it if you tried to move it forward and back.

and for the one who asked, the breach clears it by millimeters! this is pretty much the lowest you can possibly go without blocking the breach, i forgot to mention that in the review. it's one thing i absolutely loved about it!

the fbm also looks better than both the ones posted imo, the lever on the redz one also looks like it sticks out allot, this one pretty much hugs the feedneck

i love mine...yea the mid rise will clear the breach(05 rasta) and FBM colormatched the anno...also laser etches some cannibis leaves around the tightening band

dont buy the hybrid feedneck. it requires an "off-size" allen key to adjust it, and relys on orings to work properly, its tall and heavy. i have the fbm on my proto, and just sent my timmy in to get one put in, i also had it on my angel before i traded it. fbm feednecks=a+ the inside has "teeth" to help hold onto the hopper better. its niceee

and i was debating between this and the hybrid and redz

I have the FBM No-Rise on my GAT, and I still would like it lower..
Here is a pic comparing the stock Check-it to the FBM one, only about a 1/4 of a inch difference.. Yes I know they sent me a silver dust instead of polished...Al from FBM is working on correcting it.

one of my teammates has an ultra low rise, its really short, but you cant open the breach properly. Its something to consider if you go lower than what ya got... sucks when he chops...
