Instead of having to drive to the store everytime I need air gets annoying, even though it's only 20 min. away, I am always practicing and making adjustment on my guns and need air, with my angel, but especially for my cocker, you know how something is always breaking on a cocker and needs to be replaced or adjusted and then shot. Well I really don't want a bulk scuba tank, is there a high performance hand pump or something that would fill tanks, I believe I have seen them for high peformance pellet guns, not sure though, well any onfo would be great, btw, I really don't want to exceed 4-5 hundred $. Ok thanks.

Do you actually think yoou could pump enough pressure by hand to fill 3000 PSI..... lol...... You can get small scuba tanks for cheap......look around on scuba shops.....you will also need a compressed air fill station adapter.....which runs about 50$

Actually you can with the right pump specially made, look,

If you are sitting in your house, why would a "bulky" scuba tank matter?? For 4-500 dollars, you could buy a scuba tank and a fill station, easy. You could just rent one as well. Check around local stores for prices on rentals. I'm lazy, so I would rather buy a scuba and save myself some time and effort.

sorry if this sounds stupid, because I know NOTHING about fill stations, if I bought a bulk tank and fill station, would there be a compressor or something to get air into the bulk tank, or would I have to fill the bulk tank up once in a while and bring it somewhere?

You would have to get it filled somewhere like a scuba shop.
As far as compressors, the cheapest your going to be looking is around $2500 +/- (for a new one). As for the cost of a used compressor, I dunno.

I have 4 scuba tanks because my dad is a diver. where is the cheapest place to get the fill adapter. Also how much pressure can it put in a tank. I have a 47 3000. Thanks

you can find the adapter at various online stores, or look for an old thread we had discussing adapters and look at the picture I took of mine, then take it into the shop and they can really build you one.
You can still only put 3000psi into your tank, that's what it's rated for that's what it holds, don't go higher

You can buy fill station adapters at any major paintball online store...... they are usually around 45$, and will fill UP TO 4500-5000......But you only have a 3000 PSI tank, so don't go any higher.......

How many fills can a full scuba tank make?

you can get a lot of fills, but the pressure starts to drop off after a while, and the more air you take everytime will also change the number you get at high pressures

that you can figure out completely easily.
scuba tank = 10 liters @ 3000psi/200bar so it holds 2000liters air.
1,1liter 3000psi tanl with 0 psi in.
first fill scuba = 180 bar left tank = 180 bar
second fill scuba = 162 bar left tank = 162 bar
third fill scuba = 145 bar left tank 145 bar
its of course when your tank is completly empty. so its 0 psi left in. actually that never happens so you can say, you get around 2 good and 1 left filling...
its better to buy 300 bar/4500üsi scuba tank. but only fill your small tank with 3000psi. then you can get about 4-5 full 3000psi fillings plus these filings under 3000psi.

all i know is that a scuba tank fills a 47ci 22 times, the pressure gets lower every fill, so my friend baught 2 so 1 to fill and 1 to top it off, It will stop when the pressure is full, if U have a 3,000 tank and scuba tank hope this helps

Soa ll I would need to do it attatch the connector from the scuba to my hpa tank, and turn on the gas line until my tank gauge reads 4500? (Its a 4500psi tank), and thats it? As long as im safe about it thats all I need to do?
