buying those velcro suits and playing with vballs would be kinda cool.
NickyD

or you could buy reballs and play with those? You know, that way you don't have to look like a retard wearing a velcro suit...
Sorry didn't mean to own you intentionally but you know....
the Warmachine fullscale trebuchet is neat... :)

and it's MUCH safer than paintball too!...
low blow, all i have to say is 2 words...
It's On
They'll be hearing from my ass ;)
Edit: Hello,
I was reading your ad on the BackyardArtillary.com site and would like to point out something to you. Somehow in this ad you claim that tag-ball is "Much safer than paintball", which is complete bull§§§§. Paintball is THE safest extreme sport in the world and has less injuries than golf. Just like to let you know that your false advertisement crap hasn't gone un-noticed. Kthxbye

I was sure to leave em my phone number too just in case they'd like to discuss this further :)

I don't see that making much of an impact, its like those video game systems that are made for learning purposes. Somebody buys them, stupid people.

purely because i live for this sport, i feel like being a prick to anyone that should diss on it. So here for you all to see, is his great idea of researching this "injury theory".
His Reply:
On 12/12/05, ron toms <support@rlt.com> wrote:
Greetings Preston.
I can say, having been hit in the neck by a paintball, and also having
been hit in the neck by a tagball, that the paintball is far more
painfull and definately more dangerous. I can also say that I've never
been hit by a golf ball and I'm thankful for that.
So, go away and play somewhere else. You think and speak like a child.
-- Ron Toms
And here is my reply back to him:
Well, having played paintball for about seven years now, all I have to say is that I have never been injured from playing. If your basing this "fact" off of some time you played and got hit in the neck, then that is total bs and i'd just like for you to know that. Your calling me a child, yet your the one trying to further your product/sport by downing something else. Maybe you've never heard of it, but you should look into a little thing called business ethics, you might learn something. Remember, karma always comes back buddy.

I am very upset at your new product tag ball, I am an avid paintball player, and had recently bought one of your for trebuchets. I looked and was disappointed in your advertisement, which was totally false. You made sound messy as all hell, wrong buddy, you just wipe a ring of paint the size of a quarter and your done. All so, you said tag ball was very safe, but in the video I saw on your website, your “tag ball” players didn’t have proper eye protection.
This is what I sent them, this is what I all most sent them

Let it go guys. Why do you care so much? And why bring in the comparisison to golf. The activities aren't even close. The only reason the ad mentions paintball is because tag-ball IS similar to paintball. Also it is probably safer than paintball. The balls are lighter and not hitting you with as much force and there is not compressed air to deal with.
Besides...paintball can benefit from this product. Younger kids will get into tag-ball and as they get older some will likely make the move to paintball as it is probably more exciting.

lol Presto any company that answers an email as unprofessionally as that deserves to be sued to bits....
everyone should listen to tony. he apparently knows his §§§§. This tagball stuff could indeed be a possible forerunner to paintball for a younger audience.

i highly doubt it. to get my mom to let me play paintball was like pulling teeth. now all the mothers and fathers who r against the sport can get their kids tagball instead of paintball.

ya, it's more of a reflex. Someone's gunna diss paintball, their gunna get §§§§ back at em. And I compare it to golf because that's the closest comparison as far as injuries, has nothing to do with the actual game...

Funny, you sound like Preston. There's nothing false in the
advertisement. A ring of paint the size of a quarter is definately
messier than no ring at all. So grow up, and learn how to spell too.
