View Full Version : Undertow Bolts?

Has anyone ever used the Imperial Paintball Undertow bolts? Info here (http://www.imperialpaintball.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=browse&id=25265&pageid=60)

I read the information and it makes lots of sense. Its supposed to increase the accuracy a lot cause it gives the paintball a constaint rotation or backspin.

Does anyone here use them?

I got one the the first undertow bolts from Werm, and it is by far the best bolt I have used(shocktech, cobra, dye, Evil....nothing against these bolts they are all good)it increased my FPS buy 20-25 and my shot pattern was tighter at longer ranges, I have also found the gas effencity has increased as well. Bill aka Werm showed me some new stuff he's working on for angels, he's a real inovator in the painball field, he also does some crazy mad ano and milling........

I have a similar bolt called the "zip it" bolt. I didn't notice any increase in range, but I haven't tested it that much. Let me know if you could bench test your gun to see the proven results of the shot groupings. IF you can, i'd be willing to buy one of these.

My friend had one with his impulse, and it actually made his shot pattern worse....... I don't know what it was. THe stock aluminum bolt was better.....

Well Skeletar I am goin to bench test the bolt March 3rd and I will post the resulst as soon as I get home fro the field....so everyone hold on to your pants.....


2K1DarkLCD....have your buddy try the bolt with his stock barrel I have found that using a barrel/barrel insert one size larger than the actual size of the paint helps it out 10fold. That should help him out

Well gentleman I must apoligise I was not able to make it to my local field tonight after work because we are gettinga smow storm here calling for 20-30cm!!! yeah for canada!!!! hopefully I will be able to make it tomorrow night
