Hi everyone, i used to not really like angels that much, but i did a little research and i know some people who have tried damn near every gun out there and go back to the angel. i want to give it a try. I have a couple of questions, first off, what should i got for? IR3 is a bit to expensive. And is matinance a bitch for the angel? what do you have to do? also what are some of the MUST upgrades i should look at? alright well everyone thanks for all your help, mabye someday i will actually own an angel :puzzled:

Well, you could get a stock 03 LCD for around 899$ I believe. All you really want to upgrade is the barrel, and bolt...... That's really only things that will affect performance of an angel......All other things are to make the looks for the angel.....but I like everything the way it is frankly...... but try some websites, and look around for the 2003 Angel LCD's

Why are the 2k3 less than the 2k2, and what about an angel fly?

The new angels prices are dropping, to be competitive with prices of other guns. When you have the prices of Impulses ETC dropping to below 400$, you have to lower your prices, to make the buyers interested. That is why 03's are cheaper than 02's.....Paintball is becoming more and more popular, so the demand is up.....the higher the demand the lower the price, because they don't need to sale as many to make a profit......

Just like 8-9 years ago, a case of paint was 110$, now it is 50$ and below..........

What milling do you like the most? go with that.

And as upgrades go just get what makes the gun more comfortable for you....15* adapter-drop-feed port- etc...basicly all upgrades for angels do r make them look better or more comfortable.

Personally I say upgrade the living dog mess outa it if ya want to and ya got the money for it..

The only sensible performance upgrade for the angel itself, is a bolt. If you buy an angel, buy the cobra or R11 bolt. They both get rave reviews. Then you should buy yourself a good barrel kit. You are pretty much set from there. IF you are new to angels, you should just get the 03. Why? Because they are perform better than the past lcd's and are hundreds less. Fly's are just a little bit lighter, but they don't make an 03 fly. Just order an '03 from mo's paintball and I can guarantee you will like it.

Only difference in most angels is Milling/Anodizing. Angels won't perform better..... But get a good barrel kit like a Freak, or JT kit....... R-11 bolt is a must....might want to get an adjustable feed neck, to skip the pain of sanding the hopper

There is nothing really you need to upgrade the barrel is fine for front use anyway and the stock bolt is fine. They are a great marker and easy to maintain all you need to do is clean it after use and you will be fine. Might be a good idear to buy a service kit but you should be fine for a good while. Also the trigger is flying but the side to side play is a bit sloppy. You shoudnt have to worry about upgrades when you purchase the marker.
One thing you should get though is an intelifeed or a new halo b or evo2 would be gd but the revvy is fine.
