OK I know it's somewhere in here but I can't find the post....What barrels are available as of 12/09/2005 for the newer g-flys? I could have sworn obriums were good to go, but can't find it n e where...
Also, does n e body know if the old freak inserts will still be good if SP EVER COMES OUT WITH THE NEW THREADS? Just give me your thoughts, cuz I know unless you r a SP rep you won't be able to say for sure.

Well IF they do I'm sure the old inserts will be fine. The current inserts are for all guns ....no reason not to continue in such a fashion. THey just have to make the back piece the same length.

Yea...but when I thought about it the insert goes to the edge of the barrel (the end that goes into the gun) so if they shorten the barrel in order to accomodate for the threads then the inserts may not work. Dunno????? I don't have my kit in front of me so I gotta take a look at it.

Oh, and it's confirmed, the inserts will be the same...Thanks for your thoughts on the topic.

I know that the St!ffi Sw!tch Kit already has the new Angel threads. They just came in this week. Will have my new Red Mamba Sw!tch sometime next week. WOOOT!!!
The waiting for the SM-1 new threads is killing me, but at least I know for sure that they are doing it right and not rushing things through. The SM-1 Orbium-3 Kit is still my first choice.

Yo trigga, why is the SM-1 Orbium-3 Kit your first chioce? I thought about a Mamba kit, but then I read about the "O" kit and want to wait to make a decision....

I just need something to hold me over so I won';t get so many barrel breaks due to swollen paint not fitting in the stock barrel.

Any idea when and where (a MT site??) will the "O" kit be available? According to the "Experts" it seems to be worth the wait....

I asked Ken the same thing today...he said there is no time line or expected release date at the moment, BUT THEY ARE WORKING ON IT...It is more than worth the wait, as n e one who has shot one can attest...I've, personally, shot the "O' on my JD fly....DARTS!!! Is all I could say.
Once they are available, i'm sure it will be posted all over aog.

I got an e-mail back stating they would not be making the lucky 15 for the new threads.
the ones out now were pre-production ones or one offs made for the avalanche team :(
i hope they reconsidered and start making for the new threads.. which makes sense anyways as they must already have the CNC codes to do it.

Prolly not in high demand...that's the only thing I could think of, the old supply and demand.
