hi,
i got my 2k3 lcd. and the manual said, that the battery might have i very light charge. and i schould give her a full charge. i plugged it in and let it charge for about 7 hours or so... but then i was so nervous and wanted to play around with my new toy.
could i have made something wrong with unplugging it before fully charged?
and does my battery have got this memory effect?

No, after a minute it will just drop down to 3 bars.

Well when it is charging during it's first couple, you should charge it all the way. Charge it until it is fully charged, then let it completely die. Do this a couple of times so it gets the feel for it. Its kind of a like a cell phone, if you don't charge it all the way and let it die the first couple of times, then it will only last like 30mins. So, you don't want that to happen to your gun.

I frequently charge my LCD cuz I use intellifeed and that really drains the battery. It seems like my battery goes from 4 bars to 2 bars after a day of play. If I frequently charge the battery, is it going to create memory or lose its ability to hold a decent charge? Also, why do most people's angels go down to 3 bars so quickly??

Yes, I have a LCD 2K. I bought is used. the dude who had it must of always charged it without letting it drain down to dead, as the battery had a memory and would only last a few games.
And sometimes it would give me a tab in error. or not boot up to live.
So I set the LCD light on, and timer to 60 and let it run down and did this until I drained the battery dead. I then gave it an over night charge. I did this about 3 days in a row. Now it seems to hold a good charge for about 5 days of playing.
and yes it drops down to 3 bars, in the cold and after an hour of play. but it stays there for what seems forever. when it hits 2 bars.. it goes pretty quickly. I asked a team mate who has an new IR3, . he says yes his three bars quickly and then when it about 2 bars it goes dead quickly.
Our conclusion is the bar scale is not accuate.
