Im Installing The Eye Ribbons On My Ir3 But I Dont Want To Remove The Diverter Plate And Scre Thorough My Lpr . Is Their A Way To Install The Eye Ribbons Without Removing The Diverter Plate? But I Noticed With The Diverter Plate The Ribbon Dont Fit? What Can I Do I Was Also Told You Dont Have To Remove The Diverter Plate To Install The Ribbon? I Dont Get It? Please Help Master Techs. Thanks For Your Time?

The eye covers [the black rubber part] are held in place partially by the hole in the body where the diverter plate is.

Since sensi isnt used anymore the main passage is drilled out so it the air can flow straight through and then the diverter plate and sensi holes are capped off.

If you shaved off the rubber that would fit up inside the gun body and just used the hole from the SENSI pad in the grip frame to hold the covers in place you could leave your diverter plate in the gun.

Drilling the main passage allows more airflow but you could get by without that.

you have the cart before the horse here. you must remove the diverter plate, drill and tap the holes then drill thru the body to redirect the air(if you dont block off the divertor plate you will have a massive air leak). then as well cut the grove in the body to allow for the eye strap and ribbon a place to lay.as well a grove in the underside of the body for a place for the ribbon to fit into.

drille tapped and capped diverter holes but o5 eye covers dont seem to totaly reach and rubb against body of by about a micro mm but want it to look good what can i do to make it rubba gainst body on the top to curve with the gun. heat gun ?
