Lcd problem!! Doesnt activate past "pin"

Ok guys, i have a serious problem. Here it is, my 2k1 lcd reads "pin". what does that mean. i bought the gun off a kid 8 months ago, and i dont know if i have any pin numbers to enter. what should i do. what does it mean?? thanks all!!!

What is the cost to "reflash" a locked PIN LCD?
Friend has exact same problem.

He was playing with it and didn't know how he got into the mode nor what pin he inputed.

check to see if your trigger return screw isnt simply falling out. i had a similar problem - the damned screw would come out after being fired, forcing the trigger to lock in the 'fire' position, which forces the board to go to the pin thing. take out the screw, and see if it still does that, if it does, reflash the board.
