View Full Version : Euro Board or Fly Board for Upgrade?

My LCD Angel is at Fix-my-Angel right now getting all tuned up and now I'm considering upgrading to either the Euro board or the Fly.
I don't play in tournaments and I use the gun mainly for woods games. Is having just an LED set-up with the Euro any kind of disadvantage? Or should I spend the extra 100 clams and go for the Fly LCD upgrade?
Please post some thoughts on this. I plan to make a decision by tomorrow (Wednesday the 30th).
Thanks!

I would just go with the Euro board. I have one and it works great. You only get 1 mode and that is semi but you can set the bounce on it. But if you are looking for a board with modes on it go with the new tadao board. Save yourself the money if your not playing in tournaments.

Do you want all the bells and whistles or do you just want to turn it on and shoot?
If you want to scroll through all the menus and look at the pretty messages then get the Fly board, if you want to just turn it on and shoot, go with the Euro.

i have both... since i mostly play NPPL well the euro board is just fine... but the LCD is just as easy to program just has more modes...
i guess soon enough i will move both guns i have to MT FBS Tadao board.

...see if BoB will substitute the Euro or Fly board for the Tadao board...that way you get the simplicity of the LEDs and variety of modes from the LCD...plus more!

you get the simplicity of the LEDs
Counting/memorizing blinking lights has proven more difficult than reading an LCD for me, but i'm slow..............

the euro board is simple because there are options on the board that say "dwell", "mode", "tr", ect. if you cant read that, you probably need someone to read your LCD screen too because the euro bord is probably the easiest LED to understand by far.

if your not playing tournaments then you dont really need the fly or tadao(it is still fun though), but you should definately get it fly'ed (what you are talking about w/ the euro board) FMA did an exceptional job on my gun
but if you like the extra modes I would get the tadao
