1. Is it possible to take an angel's serial number and determine when that angel was built?

2. I have an LCD and also two 05 speeds. put the tank from the 05 speed on the lcd and hear this tremendous air rushing noise through the marker. I know the speed is a low pressure marker so does that mean the low pressure (or low flow) tank for the speed won't work on the lcd? this means I need a hp tank for the lcd? (marker still fires, just hear lots of air noise through the lcd)

thanks.

1. possable but people can normaly tell just by the milling pattern.
2. Yes an lcd requires an HP output tank.

I am confused over this whole LP/HP thing. My last angel 2k2 LCD worked around 350 psi of input pressure. What do the newer angels run at? Why isn't the mini-reg capable of lower the operating pressure down to what is need?

Yeah Al just a picture will work.

The rushing sound would be coming from your exhaust valve. Try gassing it with the breech open and you will see its coming up from the round hole.

What is happening is there isn't enough pressure to seat the valve correctly at first so it sticks open. Trick is to have the gun in live and pull the trigger slowly as you gas. It should seat fine after the first shot.

Yeah the old angels are not a super high pressure gun but the rule of thumb is that your tank out put pressure should be no less then 200psi more then the inlines output to the gun. Most lp tank are 450 psi so you are basicaly starving the reg.

thanks. but what does it mean for the marker to be c&c? (not what does c&c mean but what changes on the marker as a result?)

C&C means Cut and colored. I just it has differend milling and comes in more colors then the standered angel for that year. Kind of like a Factory custom.

does that make resale a bit higher?

Not really. The C&C's arent really all that rare. In fact with the IR3's the C&C version sold more then the regular version

Base Model. Basical milling, basic colors.
C+C. Moderate milling, more color options.
FLY. Lightest of all as this has the most milling. Designed with front players in mind.
