quick question guys n girls
bought my ir3 a couple of weeks back and bought a freak back for it when i threaded it on there was a gap btween the front of the angel and the back of the barrel.i mean past the threads the barrel has been milled thinner than the rest of back then the normal size diameter width of the freak continues to where you add the freak front the threads fit ok slightly tight to newness i suppose ,ive just seen emmits picture and his freak back sits flusfh to his ir3.spoke to planet who i bought it of and the said it was ok anyone else had this problem or should i send it back as it not been used yet

that's interesting because like you said mine goes all the way in. I've tried both the black aluminum back, and the ss back, and they both go all the way in. I would suggest 2 things, either a replacement, or putting an o-ring on the end of the barrel and the screwing it on. It will help make it a little snug against the body.

no the barrel screws all the way in but the back of the freak is thinner than the rest of it(there is a thin section of approximately 5mm wide past the the threads and the front part of my ir3 and then the barrel goes to its normal diameter wher it says freak strange i know i will try out on the 23rd of this month for the first time and let you all know
ps what bore is the standard barrel you get with the ir3 as im going to be shooting wdp victory paint

I had the same problem with my freak not screwing in all the way. Since I hate wating for things to be fixed I took out a small triangular file and thinned out the threads on the freak. It's not the prettiest thing in the world, but it worked and the threads are covered while in the gun anyway.
