Will the breach be able to open if i were to use a no-rise feedneck on the Gat?

i would assume so because its basically an 06 speed, hopefully the creaters of this gun took that into consideration

I doubt you will. The Check it that comes on the gat, and the Stock 06 feedneck I think are some of the lowest you can put on the gun and still have the breach open.

I used a CCM Angel no-rise on my G7 fly with no problem. Not sure about the gat though

Well,

Here's what CCM's website says about it...

Mid-Rise: 2\"
No-Rise: 1.5\"
Mid-Pro: 1.5\"
No-Pro: 1\"
Note: Angel \"No-Rise\"and \"No-Pro\" will not allow breech to open.

pics don't lie! I know their site says that but it is incorrect. I believe it applies to older angels.

Well, since it seems that the no-rise worked. Could we say that theres a possiblity that the No-pro would work too? or would that half inch less become just low enuff to block the breech?

XLP has a good point about older Angels. Maybe G7s and newer have enough material milled off to clear it. I'd guess that if a no-rise just barely clears it, that a no-pro probably wouldn't.

That is just a guess, though.

Well the reason I ask is becuase he didn't specifically say how well it cleared. He just said that it did. So the question that I have in mind is how well did it clear and is there a good enuff amount of room that he would consider giving the no-pro a try.

I would just spend the cash and try it myself but if I spend the cash and it doesn't work then I'm out 30 bucks and stuck with a feedneck I can't do anything with. So forgive my insistant questioning. This is just the easiest and cheapest way.
