Ok, i just started to take my g7 fly apart for the first time (it needs to be cleaned). i took the trigger frame off, cleaned some paint out, and put it back on the gun. now its not reading any of my trigger pulls. when i hold the trigger for 2 seconds, it wont shut off the eyes (which seem to be working fine). i dont think any of the wires are being pinched. i've taken it off and put it back on a couple of times now, and theres no change. maybe a problem with the laser? if anyone can please help me, i'd appreciate it. i admit to being a noob with angels, and i probably just made a noob mistake, but please help me anyways. thanks alot.

Does the trigger move freely as it did before you took it apart?
Also, check the wiring to the board and make sure nothing came loose and that everything is in it's proper place.

Yes, the trigger is moving the same way it was before, and i checked the wires in the grip. they look fine.

the screw in the middle of the trigger... try messing with it a little. it might not be reaching.

yeah, i think i might just do that. the local shop doesnt know anything about angels, but impact isnt too far i guess. kinda didnt want to spend the money on a repair, but i dont want a broken gun either lol. i cant go to impact until next week, so please keep the advice coming. thanks again

check the trigger adjustments in the front and rear of the trigger. i actually over adjusted the one in the rear and caused the gun not to shoot anymore. just a thought for you to try.
hope you get it fixed.

I had this same prob on an 05 i opened up yesterday. What must've happened is that the trigger wasn't inserted correctly into the plastic board cover and therefor the leaf isn't passing the activation point. Take the trigger out completely and put it in as if you're using the leaf as a hook and pit the bar which has the bearing around it in its place and rescrew those 2 screws that hold it. Now it should have a smooth, free and spacy movement and pass the activation point.
It took me about an hour to figure it out yesterday. Pm me if you have any difficulties.

I had the same problem after taking one of our team guns apart last nite myself, it is a really fine adjustment to get it just rite, so if you hold your trigger down and your eyes dont go off, your not making and breaking your opto switch, so adjust the wheel for your back stop and your allen screw in the trigger and get them adjusted so your making and breaking on your trigger switch!---This should fix it! Good luck!
