I'll start off... I guess i have a "job". I work at my local field. Acutally i just started working at a different field a few weeks ago. AG Paintball in Leesburg VA created a joint partnership with Pevs Paintball so the result is Pevs at AG (look in my sig). I jsut started working at Pevs at AG and i'm lovin it! I get paid 50 bux a day, which is 10 bux less than what VAG (where i used to work) pays but oh well. 3 10-man hyperballs, a 10-man supair and a 3-man supair, cant complain :D
//edit
also, i work from 8:30- 4:00. And if any of you guys live in teh DC area, i expect you guys to try out the fields some day with your free play pass and free fill card which you will be getting from Pevs if your on the Pevs mailing list.

I'm 26 and work in the Information Technology field.
I currently work for HP\Compaq - Global Services - as an Altiris Administrator. Unfortuantely I am on Salary for about 70k a year. It may not sound much for being in IT, but HP\Compaq's benefits are great!

Yea! $70,000 is some nice "bling", "bling". I got a pretty good job at a paintball store where I work as an air tech. It's cool. I'm also a full time sudent with a nice gpa. I'm studing buisness and accounting, which if I stick to it can land me a job that pays 6-digits. My dream though is to open and own a state of the art paintball field. This way I can play every day! and RULE THE WORLD!! :D With the WDP girls of course. O yea!

Hey Mental, what does Altiris do? Asset management? Does it have remote administration and monitoring tools for a NOC as well? Or is it just atracking software of sorts?
Thanks man.

Speed.. it does everything!
Remote Control
Software Delivery - Create automated install packages
Asset Management
Asset Tracking
Help Desk
Reporting Tools
Not really used for monitoring a network operating center... mainly used for clients... and not servers.. but servers are going to be incorporated into future releases.
You can download a free trial at: www.altiris.com
Pretty much anything you ever need to do .. you can do it with Altiris.

Attorney at a large Los Angeles law firm....pay is in the low six figures (that includes my bonus). Pays for my 'ballin' and it allows me to use my legal background to help my friends in the paintball industry. It also takes care of a lot of problems that my team could run into...on and off the field.

People selling things on line...and not sending the products after payment is made; other teams defaming or slandering our team; helping to fight paintball bans in other cities (i.e., Baltimore and Washington state); helping friends with the leases to open up fields; helping friend who own fields keep their fields open!; helping my other paintball friends with their simple legal problems (non-paintball related)....the list goes on!
Some of my friends are starting to call me the "paintball attorney." I just do what I can to help the sport.
Sweet. . Sweet. . Which fields do you play at?

Just got my GED so gonna start some college soon, maybe next month i'll find a place to work in Manhattan, back in IT.

And whoever said they 'only' make $70k in IT - think of it in a good light, yer still over the national average :puzzled:
After researching so much into this sport, i'd really like to design a marker now... i'm working on a 3D model of an Angel body to simluate some sick milling that's been floating around in my head since I got this marker.
