So what have you guys found to be the best barrel to paint match out there? I need to get a good set of barrels... any suggestions? I'm getting back into the sport after a 5-year break and have some catching up to do.

Thanks.

This flies in the face of all my past posts on barrels but I have now gone to using the stock barrels on my Joy Fly, G7 90 degree, and G7 Joy 45 degree.

I have been playing a lot of tournament ball and found with the inconsistency of paint at these events I have got way better results by using the stock barrels.

Less breaks, accuracy overall just as good as sizing my ultralite or my powerlyte. Therefore, I suggest try the stock barrel for a while and see what happens and if you are at a field find another Angel owner and ask if you can try their other barrels.

Well, this is the million-dollar question and I think it is quite simply to answer LOL

The best paint is one that shoots straight and does not break. He He

We are sponsored and have been using Evil paint for practice and tournaments for the last year and we have had great paint and bad paint from the same source.

Before I started using an Angel peeps told me “do not buy and Angel they break paint”

I can honestly say with a Fly Rasta, Fly Joy with Evolve Pi regulator and Evolve Fly kit, G7, G7 Joy with Evolve Kit.

People who say Angels break paints are full of it………BIG TIME.

Therefore, as far as paint no specific paint in my opinion is the right match for Angels other than DO NOT buy crap paint as crap paint breaks in anything.

If you have an old paintball guru around ask him or her to show you how to determine good paint other than seeing dimples or that you cannot even break it with a hammer or even it breaks in your hand. They will show you what good paint is just by educating you to feel it, bounce it and other tricks.

BTW my team makes me take our tournament paint to my hotel and I lay it out on the spare bed overnight, massage it, remove bad balls and other stuff.

Do not say get a life……………… okay
