So I am loving this Angel Force Tadao Board but I kinda don't like seeing the electronics through the LCD window.

I am sure that for some it will not bother them to see the board but me, I decided to change it an try a few things that have been done in the past to other guns/boards/grips.

Yes, I know that I am not breaking any new ground here but I thought I'd share anyway.

First up is my tribute to Angel Force for bringing us a kick-butt upgrade.

These grips will have to do for me until maybe someone makes a grip panel just for the new Angel Force Tadao Board.

So I made a couple more a little differently this time.

The only problem is, I haven't put them in and taken them outside to see how bright the LED shines through. I might need a slightly thinner white sheet to allow more of the LED light to pass through.

Just FYI, no offense was intended, not that I read any from your response. Good job on the film printouts! I do have a question however. Can it be easily seen in typical daylight? If not, perhaps larger "white graphics" will enhance it!

It can be seen in daylight. I took a look at it today. And YES, you and I do think a like because next up is a larger white area to improve the LED display. For example the AOG version is the brightest and looks the best out of the ones I have made so far.

I am going to try a thinner white background instead of the thick paper I used for the white behind the film. I tried just the film and that did not work.

Any input or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

If you know of a good photo/film supply store, then look for various diffussions such as OPAL, HAMPSHIRE FROST, #250, #216, etc.

Wow, just awesome…

I kinda like how the pc board looks too but the illuminated shield is just great.

What material is that?

We used to use vellum and a thicker opaque mylar for printing plans, I bet that would work really well.

It’s cheap, and can be printed on by a laser or ink jet printer too.

…..hmmm a skull would look cool too.

Looks really good dude. I work at a sign shop and I'm thinkin of printing a few of my own..... I'm goin to use a clear high performance film with the thinnest white vinyl possible to keep the board out of site. Kik ass idea dude......good luck with ur new business venture.

I received my board when I ordered it from the initial batch but it was not followed later by the LCD window mod.
