Well, I just purchased my first Angel and I have to say, I am impressed. I did think it was going to be a bit lighter, but I am not worried about that. I am going to a tournament this weekend and I am having problems eliminating my trigger bounce. My TP is at 1 and my MbD is at 1 as well. I have tried adjusting every aspect of the trigger pull with no luck. When I adjust the activation point I still can't get the bounce out. I will get it so it will fire 5-6 shots off without bounce, but then I pull it once and it will fire 3 rounds. I just want to be legal out there so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

I turned my MbD up to 20 and still no luck.

back out your toe adjustment thats the adjustment that goes thru the middle of the trigger into the grip frame. back it off 1/8 of a turn until it goes away.

Did You Get It Fix?

Thanks for the quick response Ken. I have tried what you said, but I keep getting 3-4 shot bursts when I flick the trigger every once and a while. I was wondering if it is better to have a long trigger pull or a short trigger pull as far as bounce prevention is concerned. Like I said, I just want to be legal when I get to this tournament, luckily I have 2 days to sort it out. Again, thanks Ken.

Hey can you guys clarify this. If the MDB is set higher like at 20, will it eliminate trigger bounce? If the MDB is at 1 will it increase the trigger bounce? Or is it the opposite. Sorry, I don't have the fly manual.

As far as I know that is correct. Higher MdB means more mechanical bounce buffering and it will eliminate trigger bounce.

they are 20 separate mdb level setting, (1) offering the the lowest level of bounce filtering, and setting (20) offers the highest value of filtering.

This is getting annoying. I think I get the bounce out, but when I shoot the gun in demo mode it is basicly ramping all the way up to 30bps. Well, I have to take off to the tournament, hope I can get it fixed on the way there. I just want it so one trigger pull = one ball shot. ACK!

Demo mode is supposed to ramp to 31 bps. It is the mode used to show off the cycling capabilities of the Angel. The best way to check for bounce is with air and paint, but Mode 1 with just air works reasonably well also.

LOL I haven't had paint so I was testing for bounce in the demo mode. Wow I feel stupid. I was wondering why it seemed to be ramping...nevermind I will shut up now.
