I think my board is gone but I am not sure.
My angel was working fine like 2 months ago when I played last (stupid cold and snow).
Anyway I go to turn it on the other day and it is acting weird. I will turn the gun on and the LCD screen will light up (blank) and then after 3 seconds it will turn the backlight off and the screen will just be blank. I plugged it into the charger to see if maybe the battery drained or something and it like "jumpstarted" it and it worked !
Today I go to turn it on and its doing the same thing again :( I am really not sure if this a battery or a board problem. Is there anything I can do?
How can I make sure the screen is seated properly?

I guess if no one has any ideas I will just get a board swap..

did you give it a full charge, or just a couple of minutes?

I'd say give it a full charge, and then turn it on and leave it on for a bit and see if you get a fault code on the board. It may be that you just need to give your battery a good charge after having sat for 2 months.

Like stated above, let it charge for an hour or so.....also where did you store it? If it was cold.....let it warm up or something..... And check for a fault code.....

You might need to get a board swap if this does not work...... also check your battery connections and everything......

Connections are all good.

It was in my room so it was not cold at all. 65'+

I read somewhere else that it could be by LCD screen is not seated right on the board. How do I make sure it is right?

I will charge it for a few hours and see what happens...

If you havent used it for a while the charge may have dulled. You should give it a good six hour charge and then test it out.

Alright I took the LCD screen off and then carefully put it back. Nothing. I will give it a full charge tonight hopefully.

If this does not work I am swapping the board on Saturday.

thx guys

What battery do you have? You should have the NiMH. Let us know. I believe 2k was the only year with the NiCad. If you don't know how to tell, just look on your charger, it should say on there.

I had the same problem with my angel and got it fixed. Downside is that the way the fixed it is by putting in a newboard. =(
