I have the option to get a Karnivor w/ the zero b board installed for $995, or the 06 speed for $900. I have an hp tank, so I would be sending it into crossfire (http://www.crossfireinc.com/whatsnew.htm) to get an lp reg put on (about $80) if I was to go with the angel, plus I would need to buy a bottomline, say $40 (give or take some), and a tool kit (I would need one to check lpr if nothing else) for $50.

Total
Karni-$995
06 speed-about $1070 (give or take some)

What do yall think? I am stuck between these 2.

Thanx to all.

well since i have actually shot both.

Karni- very fast and accurate, some reliability issues, very comfortable to shoot.
06 speed- very fast, light weight, angel reliability, turn and burn gun, not a big LED person.

I would take the speed if those were my only choices.

While my opinion would be to get the Speed you got to realized that EVERYONE here will say that. It's AOG.

You're stuck between two entirely different markers. Both are going to feel different, shoot different, require different maintenence, achieve different effieciency, sound different, overall be really different markers. Believe me, a $1000 marker is going to shoot nice whatever it is. The only reason people buy one over the other is completely personal preference. No one here or anywhere can tell you what to buy. You need to go out, shoot them both and decide for yourself. Oh, and by the way, buy the speed.

I recently had to make this decision as well. The karni is a sweet gun, but I wanted something I would know would work because I currenly don't have a backup gun so I choose the Angel. On a karni there is so much that can go wrong, and you will be sitting in the box wishing you could play.

I've owned both and while i liked the "feel" and look of the karni the reliablitiy and what-not really turned me off to them, plus the lack of "real" tech support such as the M/T's is something that has to be taken into consideration.......this is an angel forum but these guns are dead-nuts the tanks of high-end electros IMO:patriot:

A guy on my team has a ZeroB orry, which in my opinion is WGP's speed and the Karni is thier G7. Cockers shoot great(I used to own one) but it's a different feel. I love my speed over the cockers cuz:
1. lighter
2. faster
3. WAY less maintenence
4. Built and backed better

Shoot them both. Buy what you like and are more comfortable with.

Pretty sure most of us has shot a cocker, in the present day, cockers are sadly dieing out =( my e2'd reflex with 1500 put into it is worth no more than 400 now, Angel resale is much better compared to cocker's plus the speeds are prettier =) i actually like the e2/zero b lcd and settings, gives you alot to do though.

wELL i own a karni right now and im and trying to switch over to angel because of the reliability, a karni is not just a gun u can pick up and play with , u need to test it out for a while because temp variations can stop ure gun for working, I was once doing a private play with some friends and hey were an our late , so i was showing off my karni , It working perfect till they got there and didn't work , so go with angel just for that reason

angel fo sho....ive owned cockers, both mech and e-blades in the past, and they are GREAT guns, and the maintenance really isn't as bad as people say it is, especially if you know how the guns work and you're somewhat mechanically skilled. but, cockers are def harder to clean after a gun hit(pneumatics) and they can just be a pain sometimes...there's a lot more factors into setting up cockers that there are with angels. angels are just as smooth and accurate and are much easier to take care of. they just seem smaller and more balanced too.

I had a Karni in Pro Gold/Black. It shot great, was accurate and QUIET! and performed flawlessly for 3 full days of paintball. On the 4th day, it began to chop balls...then..it would not cycle.

The gun was cleaned, lubed and properly re-assembled after each day of use.

For me, the autocockers have too many things that can go wrong...making troubleshooting a real nightmare.

I sent the gun back to WGP and then sold it.

I have an 05 speed, (a couple of tippmanns) a timmy in dragon form w/frenzy and the 06 speed.

My favorite gun, no question, is the 06 speed.

It is faster, it is lighter, smaller and better looking(IMHO). And...if you ever take it in the woods...there is no front block you may catch on something and rip it off (saw a guy rip all of his hoses off on a branch)
