Question on how the board will work with the A4 and below type of grip panels.
I noticed in the pictures Sparco and Ken provided that the LED is facing the same way the LCD screen would on the gun. The problem being, the window on the grips is colored, mine being blue. Wouldn't that tinting make it hard to see the correct color of the LED being presented on the board? This is a non issue on G7's, but the A4 and below design of the grips makes me nervous.
If this has been adressed before, whoops. I'm just curious how this will work with colored grip windows.

The colors will still show through your window. The LEDs on the boards are bright.

even if they didn't you could just take off the grip cheek.

That doesn't seem too convenient.

A lot. Yes, I am lazy.
And the plastic is dyed. If I have to get new grip cheeks, I will.

I was playing with some LEDs this morning and I held a grip panel up to a green and a red one. I could tell the difference in color through the blue window no problem.

Why buy a product if you're not sure it will work correctly?

so if you couldnt distinguish the colors to your liking through the panel, you would rather not buy the board at all????? Whats wrong with you people...lol

Listen dummy. I'm not going to give up if the board wont read correctly through the panel. If I can confirm it doesn't read correctly, then I can make arrangements to remedy that before I get the board and realize it wont work right. Down time is a bitch.
Now, I ask, what's wrong with YOU?

you have to take off the the grip cover to change the modes on the board, just like the stock board, once you set the board with the mode of your choice you dont need to see the color of the light and as long as you see the flashing light you will be good to go.

You only need to remnove the grip panel to change the modes if the tourny lock is on. If the lock is off, the the modes can be changed without removing the panel.
To toggle the lock on/off, there is a button inside, on the board.
Don't worry, I have a feeling that Angel Force has thought this through for all Angel users that can use the board in their Angels. I don't know for sure, just a guess.

Yay.
I have a feeling my tourney lock will remain off indefinitely.
