When I got my arsenal G7 it came with back magnet out.

When I get the tadao will I need to order the back magnet in order to make it sing. Whats the reccomended setup using the tadao.

I thought it was going to be released in miami, which it wasn't. Booo

Dark,

Thus far I've tested the board with all 4 possible configurations (for the pre-G7 Fly trigger setup).

1. Back magnet out
2. Front magnet out
3. Both magnet out
4. Both magnets in

It worked fine in all 4 cases, the thing to remember is 'wear.' The microswitch needs something else to assist in pushing the trigger away from it and back into the 'neutral' position. Otherwise if the switch does all the work, it's going to wear out pretty darn quick.

I personally found the rear magnet to create the least amount of wear on the switch and have used that as my primary configuration. But they're all work and there's no 'right or wrong.'

Thanks for your reply Sparco

So in otherwords you use case 2 with your personal setup?

After some detective work, I believe its going to be released in miami.

How can you tell if the magnets are in or out? I have a Arsenal G7 Fly and would like to know how to tell the difference.

When I tried the Tadao on the G7, I used it with my back magnet removed. Worked perfectly.

Arsenal, keep in mind that my recommendations were based solely on the pre-G7 Fly configuration, noticed I mentioned that in the original post. I've yet to try the Tadao board in the G7 Fly or '06 Speed. But from how I understand the trigger to work you will need to modify anything to get the softest pull.

Trigga, indeed. Originally Will & I were skeptical on running just the front magnet for fear of wearing out the switch prematurely. However after running a solid 75,000 rounds through my '05 Speed (with the board) we determined that as long as there was minimal forward travel with the front magnet only configuration it'd not cause problems.

Oops, my fault. I overlooked that small detail. And just assumed you were talking about the fly.

Hey Sparco, I'm alittle confused about this part of your post. Will G7 Fly's triggers need to be modified in order to get the softest pull or will modifying be unnecessasary?

Arsenal, again I'm speaking on behalf of the pre-G7 Fly trigger design. I haven't used a Tadao board with the new breakaway trigger design. I will be this weekend down in Miami, though.

I have an 04 Speed.
I've been told I could use the G7 board.
But what's this about magnets?
Would I need 1?

The magnets they are talking about are in the trigger adjustment wheels. If your Speed doesn't have them I don't think it will effect your ability to use the Tadeo at all.
